Plays and Events
Use this feature to instantly group all of your
offensive plays together, or perhaps all plays involving a certain
athlete, or all plays resulting in a turnover or a score. Your game
review can instantly focus on related plays or results with a
single click of your mouse!
MotionClip groups plays by the video
file in which they are contained. If you have
multiple video
files in your project you will see all of the sorted plays
found
within the first video file, followed by all of the
sorted
plays in the next video file, and so on.
Filtering Plays or Events, and Viewing
Statistics
MotionClip makes it
easy for you to focus even more deeply by filtering the plays or
events shown. Filtering allows you to choose from any
subset of your play settings, displaying only those plays
that match the criteria you select exactly. Want to see every 4th down
where your team failed to convert? Simply check "4th down" on the
Game Situation tab, and "Loss of Possession" on the Result of
Play tab. All other plays will be hidden from view until you
turn filtering off. Powerful stuff!
At the bottom of the filter
screen MotionClip presents statistical data representing the percentage of
plays matching your criteria, the percentage of matching plays relative to
the entire game, and the total amount of "game time" consumed by the
matching plays. Instantly see the amount of time your offense was on the
field as compared to your defense, or the ratio of running plays to
passing plays. You can view statistics based
on any combination of settings, simply by checking or
unchecking the settings you are interested
in.
Taking Instant Snapshots
You can take an instant picture at any moment
simply by pressing the camera icon located in the lower right corner of
the screen. Your pictures will be automatically copied to the clipboard as
well as displayed in our Export Preview window. You can save the picture
as a JPG, or print it as a full page, landscape image perfect for sideline
review.
